The menu trail determines where the current page is in a menu, and parent links so they can be highlighted to show where you are. This module will set the menu trail based on the url, so the page does not need to be in the menu, but will appear under the section.
This module discovers the active menu trail (see MenuActiveTrail) instead of by menu, meaning it will highlight menu links for pages that are not in it. This is useful for things like articles that you want to place under a section by url, but don't want to add every article to the menu.
