Grant editing permissions to content based on menu hierarchy or taxonomy term. This covers a lot of use cases pretty well but if your needs fall outside of this you may need something else.

Pre made components for Layout Builder.

This adds an entity edit link to the toolbar.

Provides a page to see field info for content types, media, paragraphs, taxonomy, and users. Very helpful to get familiar with a site or plan a redesign or upgrade.

Sets all entities and fields that have undefined language to the site default.

Paragraphs don't need a label, but custom blocks placed in layout builder do. Since you're not always displaying the label this can be an extra step in composing content.

Define layout configuration options via yaml files instead of writing a plugin.
